  1. Did Karl go out and whip some GT2 or GT3 at an PCA HPDE again? :-)
  2. If you have a Zetec, check the wireing to the crank sensor. Make sure it is not to close the the header. If it is, the wires can melt allowing the + and - wires to come in contact with each other. This can be intermittent and cause sputtering or engine ceasation. It can also correct itself when the engine cools. A real PIA to diagnose and find. Or, it can be constant causing the engine to stop and not restart. We replaced my wireing and wrapped it in heat shield and also made a heat shield to cover the crank sensor. Problem solved.

    RIP Dad

My thoughts are with you and your family. I understand how you feel as I have lost my dad, mom and a sister. FWIW the memories of each of them seem to get even better with age. Hang on to them.
  4. Those little holes also let the water drain out. I have even added holes in the foot area for when I wash out the cars interior. Can't say I have ever noticed water coming into the car through them. BTW I would go wit #2
  5. Tom, I really liked the snake dance. How could anyone not watch that in their rear view mirror and forget wher the line was? It wasn't his fault after all.
  6. Do you know who the drivers were?
  7. Tom, I think that snake dance your car does going into turns scared the s:," out of him. That seems to happen with Ferrari drivers in NJ.
  8. I guess that's good news.
  9. Mike, I wound up having mine rebuilt as well. As far as the sputtering out goes, I would try replacing the crank sensor and the wires leading to it. I carry a spare and have had to replace it several times. Good luck
  10. Does anyone know what the ring & pinion used in a 1998 DeDion came out of? I may want to move to a 411 from a 396. Thanks,
  11. Tom......it's a right hand drive. So who is coming to Summit Point on the 17th?
  12. Mike, Maybe it's not the car at all.
  13. Karl, Only tou could make a Seven look smaller. :-) August 17,18,19 Summit Point ??
  14. Graeme Is the oil cooler for a Zetec? Do you still haveit? Does it have all the fitttings and mounts? How much are you asking? Thanks, Michael D
  15. I think Tom has a new 2 wheel ride.
  16. Mike, I thought it would have sold by now. Any chance of you bringing one of the cars to Summit Point in August?
  17. Nice buy for someone.
  18. It's 1965 Jaguar BRG.
  19. NASA MidAtlantic events are HPDE days with races mixed into the HPDE and TT events. Since they use a one group goes on track as one group comes off process they get alot of sessions in a day. HPDE 3 gets five sessions a day both days. You need to have a $45 NASA membership and register on line. The Hampton Inn in Winchester (Berryville Rd) is 14 miles away just off of Interstate 81. The Summit Point rate is $77 a night. You can get into the track after 5 PM Friday evening the 17th. Come on. Join the fun. [/url] This is Folis last August 2010 on SP Main. Enjoy.
