  1. Does anyone have a link to a wiring diagram or a PDF for a 2005ish to 2010 or so Caterham Duratec SV or S3 that they can point me to quickly? I'm trying to get the work on my car finished up and I had a request from my Mechanic this morning saying it will save me time and money. Any help is Greatly appreciated. Thanks Tom
  2. About 8 weeks to go now. Just about half of those on the list have now registered. Croc and I have had correspondence from several others who indicate that they are thinking of joining the fun. We may soon hit our self imposed max so don't delay and be sure to book your Hotel now as they fill up fast with the summer shore crowd. You can always cancel if needed. Tom Current list of those indicating they are coming, with registered noted. 1) Croc, Caterham Registered 2) Yellowss7, Caterham Registered 3) Kitcat, Caterham Registered 4) Michael D, Caterham Registered 5) Dave D, Superformance S1 Registered 6) FE07, Caterham Registered 7) JBH, Caterham Registered 8) Simon 450, Caterham Registered 9) RGTorque, WCM Ultralight 10)Wemdt, Birkin Registered 11)TBox 56, Birkin Registered 12)Fmorser, Locost Registered 13)Sk400, Caterham Registered 14)Birkin Dave & son., Birkin 15) George H., Birkin 16) Scott L., Caterham Registered 17) Norm B., Caterham 18) d15b7, Caterham/lotus Registered 19) BBall7754, Something shiny. 20) Redgoose, Caterham 21) Dan3030, Westfield 22) Dr. Doug NJMP member, Caterham 23) Jeff S., Caterham Spectating only: 1) Blokko Registered
  3. I would suggest going to a local tag place and ask them about transferring the title. If they think they can just submit the title and register it in pa, then you might be home free. Once titled, you can take it to any State inspection site and since you'll probably do less than 5000 miles, apply for the emissions exception. I believe in Pa, now, to register a Specially constructed vehicle from new, you need to have it inspected in one of the designated "special state inspection" locations prior to titling. Insurance with Grundy or JC Taylor is fairly straight forward as agreed Value policies.
  4. Dan, how is the car currently titled in NC?
  5. I believe the 2 inch lap belts allow for a better fit, i.e tighter fit. I have the schroth ones on my Orange car with the two inch belts on the lap, and the modified two inch for the hans on the sholder harness. I have the Three inch Willians ones in the Yellow car and the fit is definitely better in the orange car. Tom
  6. Seb, Glad to see you are finally going to make the Karting race. You know that with your past credentials and low body weight we are going to give you a HUGE handicap. :jester: As for your neighbor Mr. J. If he's a true 7s guy he has no excuse not to come. Where else can you see twenty or more 7s together, on track and in the paddock. The food is always great and the stories are Epic. This year again we will have people coming in from Connecticut, NY, NJ, PA, OH, MO, MD, CO and VA. The guy from Arkansas is still making excuses about not having enough time to finish his car, but we know that's lame.:svengo: The more the Merrier. Bring Kelli and the kids. :seeya::seeya: Tom
  7. Tom, I guess we know who is going to win the Iron Butt award again.:hurray: Looking forward to seeing you again. Birkins are making a big push this year based on potential signup. Croc will chime in if I'm wrong, but if you don't need any hook ups, you can probably just park in the grass behind the paddock area where we will be setting up. I think you can just call the main NJMP number Michael provided in the registration lnfo to secure a camping pass. Tom
  8. Just moving the Potential list over to this thread and updating it with those currently registered for the event. Looks like we will have a record turnout. Still looking for the elusive Storker to add to the list of se7en types in attendance. For those looking to try out a se7en for size, it looks like we may have a complete assortment present. 9. NJMP event is July 2nd and third, with arrival and set up on the 1st if you prefer to come in the day before. We also do a karting race and a Poolside BBQ dinner on the 1st for those who come in early. See this thread with all the details. Tom http://www.usa7s.net/vb/showthread.php?11111-2016-East-Coast-Sevens-HPDE-and-Social-Event-in-Millville-NJ And here is a link to photos from last year. http://www.usa7s.net/vb/showthread.php?10558-2015-East-Coast-Sevens-Event-Photo-Thread
  10. The heck with that, bring it to the NJMP event and open it up on the track where it belongs. :jester::party:
  11. Hi Ron, This one might work. Tom http://www.ebay.com/itm/WALKER-250-24678-O2-Oxygen-Sensor-Upstream-for-03-07-Ford-Focus-L4-2-0L-2-3L-/131269411093?hash=item1e90444115:g:ccIAAOSwqu9VOLB3&vxp=mtr
  12. Hi Paul, I use a good quality synthetic and change the oil and filter every 6 or so track days. You aren't revving the nuts off your car, so as long as you are using a good oil and filter and your temps are in the normal range, you need not be overly concerned. IMO Brake fluid should be changed at the beginning of each season. Keeping an eye on the level and if there is any issue with your pedal travel.

    Eddie Hill

Love your posts Eddie. :seeya: Great to see you are still the hotshoe in whatever type of car you put on. Keep on sharing the smiles!!! Here's to you getting to at least 99!!! Tom
  14. NJMP is all spruced up for the season. New paint on the curbing, a newly paved fuel pad, and the bridge into Lightning has a nice new transition that eliminates the sharp edge and nasty bumps on both sides. Nice to have three Se7en's on track today. Croc worked hard today finalizing all the details for the food and registration. Getting closer. Tom
  15. Now that spring has officially sprung here in the northeast, it looks like the track season is finally getting to the open cockpit Se7en's liking. NJMP has been open for a month now and I think Simon450 is the only one of us that has braved the chilly mornings to get on track. I plan to take Yellow out tomorrow, since Orange is still in the shop getting put back together. But the big news is that we are just a little over 2 months away from our 6th annual se7ens gathering at NJMP. From humble beginnings with just 6 of us, we have continuously grown to what looks to be our biggest turnout yet. This will be the third year in a row that NJMP has welcomed us and given us our own 7s run group for the weekend. So if you ever wanted to get your se7en out on track with a group of other like minded, friendly folks, or just want to meet up and socialize with a bunch of 7's owners, then you should consider coming out and joining in on the fun. Bring the wives, girlfriends and kids. There is a pool, Tennis courts and great viewing areas to watch us on track. Food has been a big hit with everyone the past few years and we expect nothing less this year. Mike and I, as well as the several other Se7en owning NJMP members on this site, are more than willing to help first timers learn the track and enjoy the two days. The only competitive moments occur on the go Karting track, just watch out for Kitcat. :cuss: And Roman.:bs: Hopefully, we can get our registration link details finalized shortly so that registration for all the days activities work flawlessly. Here is the latest update on the potential attendees. The more the merrier. 16. Great Dan. I'll put you down as spectating for now. Let me know if you will want to join in on the fun on track. This will be the first Westfield to make the event. So all we are missing now is the very elusive Storker. We have had a few but they are a very rare bird that some folks think have a destructive bent and are now an endangered species. :jester: Pm me your email info and we will get you on our distribution list for the registration link once we get all the details sorted out. See you there. Tom
  17. The movie, "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" Do you still just look at the pictures, and not read the articles. :jester:
  18. Congratulations Dan! I believe that now makes 2 recent se7ens purchases in the Oaks, Pa area. What's going on up there? Maybe we'll see one or both of you at the Se7ens gathering at NJMP this year? Good luck with the new purchase, Tom
  19. Hi Ron, The plugs I use are NGK BR7EFS STOCK Number 1094 or the Denso Iridum IT24#4 5328#4
  20. There you go. Dave is on this site often, I'm sure he can give a good accounting of the car. Knowing Dave's work, I suspect it is a very well built and sorted car. Tom
  21. Could it have been Dave's? Is it Blue and aluminum?
  22. Stewart, It's great to see your smiling face. :seeya: We will reserve a special spot for you under the tent for your appearance at NJMP. Just don't take Kitcat up on any offers for a ride. Seriously, I am glad to hear that you are closer to home and the support of your family. Our Thoughts and prayers are with you. Tom
  23. Thanks, I'm looking for the Buna N 70 ones as they seem to fit those requirements. Tom
  24. Van, Thank you Very, very much! :flag: Tom
