  3. You should have kept the Miata Bill S.
  4. Keep it as it is now. Otherwise, how are sellers supposed to have any feedback as to their presentation and/or car and it's real condition (vs their hyped condition). Bill S.
  5. http://www.nhtsa.gov/cars/rules/import/FAQ%20Site/pages/page2.html#Anchor-10-55977 and http://www.bordercenter.org/chem/vehicles.htm Let us know what the Feds have to say when they stop your assemblage of parts at the border/port I suspect you are a young man, full of passion, but not quite grasping what those of us who have actually imported someone from out of the country are telling you. The above links will help, but a phone call to the agencies previously mentioned is going to be required on your part. In other words, it's not all in black and white, get off your behind and do some of your own homework and stop expecting it to all be handed to you on a silver platter.
  6. Great to watch over morning coffee. Thanks for posting
  7. If it's under 25 years old and not on the NHTSA non conforming list, it can't be brought in to the country legally. See the attached two links for all the details: http://www.nhtsa.gov/cars/rules/import/ and http://www.nhtsa.gov/cars/rules/import/FAQ%20Site/pages/page2.html
  8. Wayne, Because it's more than 25 years old. Been there, done that. Bill S.

  10. 82% for me...........And I'm not even 60 yet
  11. This just screams for a caption contest: http://www.usa7s.net/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=9630&d=1442287371&thumb=1 What Shrek would look like if he owned a Caterham/Lotus 7
  12. Everything makes your back hurt :jester::jester:
  13. Carbon fiber seat for a cockpit wall?
  14. If you can fit in the WCM, you can fit in a V8 Miata. Nothing quite like them when done right. Bill S.
  15. First, what is the SPF chassis number? Second, how much without the enclosed trailer? Third, how is the car titled? Bill S.
  16. Neither does zahntoid :smilielol5:
  17. Windshield and wiper, along with plexi side panels. Your wife made you orders those, didn't she
  18. What year is the Trailex trailer, electric brakes or surge brakes? How is the car titled?
  19. If I can decipher your post: 1: you are looking at a salvage title 2013 Miata 2: It has a supercharger currently installed 3: You want to title and register the car in your name in the state of Maryland So, the simple response is a link to the Maryland state web site page which shows the process in which to get it inspected, then titled/registered: http://www.mva.maryland.gov/about-mva/info/58000ASE/58000-03T.htm Follow it and you'll do just fine. Bill S.
  20. As with Skip, I can't say I've ever seen this before, given the lighting used, I'll say lower Suffern, UK based. Not an OE Mazda item though, but cool just the same. Bill S.
  21. Do you have the original windscreen for the car? if so, might I humbly suggest that you install it, take a picture, so those potential buyers who want to drive it on the street can envision themselves behind the wheel/full windshield. Might appeal to a wider buyer pool if shown that way. Bill S
  22. Only someone still stuck in NYC would make a joke like that :ack: Bill S. Ex NYC Pat.
  23. Wait, you have a sense of humor. When did that happen:jester:
  24. Besides honing in on the fuel pump, I'd be looking at the coil pack arrangement. Had something similar in my first Birkin, thought as others did that it was the fuel pump. Swapped it out and still had the same intermittent issue. Swapped out the coil pack, never had another issue again. Just a little input from the guy thinking outside the box Bill S.
