  1. Speak with Skip Cannon here, he has a Miata powered 7 There is also a yellow Birkin running around with a Miata drivetrain installed.
  2. I used to love getting out of geometry class to watch that, over and over and over again. .32 a gallon back then, must have been filmed in California
  3. Never knew he could actually fly
  4. Wait, croc has a FIA Mustang? Bill S.
  5. This wasn't the car in Greenville, SC was it?
  6. What does your current title read? If not mistaken, Ohio titles them as the year they closest duplicate (or they do now with the Cobra replicas). Bill S.
  7. As long as you have legal title to the vehicle in your name, it won't be an issue at all. Bill S. PS: Now, if you are selling your car overseas, make sure that the funds are transferred directly in to your account via wire transfer, and that the car and it's associated paperwork does not leave your possession until all funds have cleared locally.
  8. Where specifically is South America ? Bill S.
  9. I can respond from experience. YES, YES it will
  10. I was wondering if you were going to jump on one of them after Keith posted them for sale. Congratulations, nothing like a V8 Miata to get your blood flowing. Bill S.
  11. The $14,000 SPF S1 is a scam. I got the "I'm on a research ship, you can send me a deposit and I'll get you in touch with my friend to finish the deal" response. Let the potential buyers beware
  12. I too have seen this car at Carlisle....He has had it for sale for 2+ years at that price, with all of the spares he has for the car, I'm extremely surprised that nobody has snapped it up yet. Think it is most likely the way it is titled that has this one going unsold for so long. Wonder if the wife would notice it suddenly appear in the back garage Bill S.
  13. Must have been a Superformance owner :svengo:
  14. Isn't that retail for a new Birkin?
  15. And shilling it along the way :ack: Check out the bidding history for the guy who bid $ 25,201 as well as the bidder who is the high bidder at $26,362.62 for starters. Personally, I'd never trust a seller who has to illegally shill is own auctions in an attempt to "make his market".
  16. What an interesting first post :toetap05:
  17. Right around the corner from this one if anyone is contemplating overpaying for it I can do a PPI :willy_nilly: Bill S.
  18. According to Jim Price at SPF, 56 S1's were produced  Bill S.
  19. Steve, I think he is talking of the general SPF owners site, where his car has been listed for sale longer than #35 Bill S.
  20. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QJdBd0437U&feature=youtu.be Never get out of your race car unless it is on fire, wait for the wrecker, or the extraction team. Regardless, unfortunately, he would still be alive today if he followed the rules that are drummed in to each race driver and team from the beginning of their race careers. Tragic, tragic, tragic, our condolences go out to everyone involved. Bill S.
  21. Lotus Super 7 Bill S. PS: Caterham, England was the physical location of the business at that time. To read into anything more than that is a fallacy :svengo:
  22. Yes, it is
  23. Yes, the 4th is mine. Lot's of interesting offers for trades, but nobody with cash at the moment. Go figure. Bill S. PS: After seeing what the license for the road in SC, I believe (if I had the extra funds) I could get an "Atom" legally on the road in about a week
  24. Take a close look at your fuel lines (braided or rubber) as the older lines are not up to the task of modern blended fuels and become "aromatic" (IE: the fuel permeates through the line). Had this happen several years ago with an older ERA 427SC Cobra replica. Ended up replacing all of the non stainless lines with the later, ethanol resistant lines, never had an issue after that. Bill S.
