CBuff
Looks sharp. Four years before you used it - that makes me feel better about not using all my pieces yet. I had the full hood on last weekend for pending rain for the first time. Didn’t drive it with it on. But got some practice putting it on. Still prefer the half hood

Decided to try out tonneau cover for the first time after owning it for about 4 years now Naturally the rain missed us. Does anybody know how to fit these tonneau covers back into OEM bag properly? You get some really strange questions. It maybe your first time but not the first time a Seven has been in the mix at such an event. This year we’ve been to dozens mixed car shows. Funny, we have yet to win a prize. Got beat out by cars like a '63 VW Beetle and twice by the same '78 Honda Civic. Oh well, still a lot of fun to attend. Vovchandr
I didn't meant to ruffle some feathers. I meant the specific old trucks that I haven't even seen around. General muscle I've been around plenty as I'm sure plenty of others have

Vovchandr
Back from the track day Car did great overall. Only things that failed are aftermarket components. Westermann CSR aluminum wing stay failed on driver side and I was battling through bad throttle mapping in the ECU throughout with lean conditions causing misfires. I think there is some bad juju on the driver front wheel. Original owner had his bolted fender fly off on driver side, I had first round of Sika flex fail when I glued fenders first time, then I had rivcerts fail out of the stay on the track day same day, next track day I had driver fender issues and now this year with a new stay and new fender failures again. Could be that side is generating more heat due to bad bearings or dragging calipers or something. Maybe I'll just go open wheel next time entirely? Time to send my oil for analysis to Blackstone to check whats going on with engine and do an oil change. It's been in there about 2 years. Very surprised that people don't know about this. @NSXguy @Croc Blackstone https://www.blackstone.com/ slight bend... Had to cut off Sikaflex in the back. Held on strong! All the tools brought came to use (of course couldn't find my ball joint breaker tool specific for Caterham before I left ) Bent that far, no easy way to remount Hella flush! Vovchandr
Original fenders had a failure with previous owners. You can see the fixings in the fender Then 2019 NJMP. Again driver front. I believe Sikaflex failed (good picture, fond memories @wemtd) 2020 - NJMP here is my quote Emphasis mine Quote "Discovered one mechanical failure towards the end of the day and it was not what I expected Big heads fasteners failed on the fender. Not the glue like last year. The actual fasteners. Same fender as last year btw. Not sure what's causing extra stress on that side. Last year glue failed AND hard mount/screws have failed. This year metal failed. Right side is fine. Strange." In 2021 I had another failure, this time hardware failed My quote at the time Quote Also after the last track day I also discovered that my left hand cycle fender had issues... Again. Second time it doesn't want to survive a track day. Last time sika flex failed. Then hardware bolts failed. This year the actual metal of the bigheads has failed on 3 out of 4 fasteners. I only have 2 spares on hand so will have to order more. I have a feeling there is something wrong with the fairing stay so I will also be replacing it. Lucky I have one on hand. ' The next two years (2022/2023) I wasn't on the track and now that I went this year another driver failure on completely different components. New wingstay and fenders. very peculiar. That makes my batting average 1.000 as I'm 4 out 4 for driver failures on track days in many different flavors for mounts and fenders. CBuff
Maybe the clockwise running at the track. Ie more right turns than left. Heavier compression on the left side the car ????

It was pretty close but since the fender floats with wheel it never contacted. Either way that's the first iteration of my mounts/fenders that came with the car. Since then I've switched 2 or 3 times. IamScotticus
I was reviewing the current Cat build manual and noticed the recommended use of WD-40 on the wing area to be glued to "help [the glue]spread out". Vovchandr
Also troubleshoot my troubled map a little more Still no data log. Barely had time to test the @catsv7 gave me and adjustments @NSXguy suggested I do to the fuel map table. Acting like a blind squirrel looking for nuts I was able to throw some numbers into the tables that seemed to fix that part throttle flat spot/stumble/misfire I had. I only did a quick test @catsv7 car didn't really start well with your profile and map and shot a major fireball upon one of startups. Barely ran. I took screenshots and compared data between our setups. They are different but aren't night and day so not quite sure why it acted so bad.
