What a great adventure and you have a really nice car. It is probably what I should have done, but I am enjoying my adventure as well.   I enjoyed meet you and despite my problems had a great time. Thank you for the shirt and I will have it clean and back to you in September.

@Croc for the hospitality and sharing your track knowledge.  I learned a lot from everyone there. An amazing time.

@Croc is a national treasure of the 7 community.

My rudimentary attempt at documenting the weekend. I erased some footage as I figured out how to upload and edit. Much like the mechanics itself, lots of learning being done on all fronts.

This weekends run. Up to 1700 Miles so far. Thanks @slowdude and @NSXguy for letting me tag along for some of the engine re-install.

Did it walk to get to the USA?

Jeez. Everyone’s a critic. My first boat ride with the car would be more accurate.

I guess I haven’t updated this in a while. Well I wrapped up 2024 with just over 5,000 miles, 7 track days and lots of smiling.

Had a little break in the weather and the roads mostly cleaned of salt.  Headed up to mohonk preserve in the Shawangunk mountains.  Some old friends in tow and some other seven owners along the way. Gonna have to keep it up with my hope to beat last years mileage.

get em on the roads gentleman.

Early one morning just after a huge snow fall we had to pick up some meds from the pharmacy. Only the main roads had been plowed and the parking lot had only seen a couple of cars. I knew where the parking spots where so when I pulled in I did a wide turn and then planted my foot hard on the accelerator to get the wife’s Crosstrek into a nice controlled, sweeping drift. The vehicle came to rest perfectly situated in the first spot in the row.

No sooner had the vehicle come to a stop and WHACK! The wife hauled off and hit me, hard, in the shoulder and started yelling at me.

What did I do wrong?
