Croc
Friday June 13 and Saturday June 14, 2025 Thunderbolt circuit - freshly repaved at the beginning of 2024. For 2025 they will have done the new circuit change which is a cut through of the "octopus' head at Thunderbolt, rejoining at the 'squiggles' just before the bridge. So it will be a much faster course. If your se7en is not working then yes we can arrange for you to participate with a non-7 in another group. If you are new to the track in your se7en then the introductory program is a gentle way to learn the basics in a safe pace car environment with classroom learning. If we do not get a minimum of 10 cars we will be out with the open wheel group. As people found in previous years this is not a problem other that you need to learn passing in the corners as those Formula Fords and Radicals are quite quick. Dates are subject to NJMP finalization and approval of track schedule for all groups (not just its DC program). More details will follow 1

Stalker LS3
This event is on the list! Question, fairly new to the South/East, how does one handle the hot/humid weather at the track. As camping at the track really keeps costs down plus I don't like leaving my gear unattended. Thanks Scott in Chattanooga

Thanks Scott in Chattanooga Early June tends to be a little cooler. 60s to mid 70s. Usually a little wet that time of year too. I wouldn't worry about humidity and the track has nighttime security. I slept in my car last time with zero issues.

I am trying to see if I can push Bruce to do an engine start at his Christmas Party.

Looking forward to meeting in person. Whats the history and spec on your Stalker? Did you build it yourself or buy at some point? 17 hours ago, Stalker LS3 said: how does one handle the hot/humid weather at the track. Hydrate!!!! Skip the worst days as you just knock your body around too much. Your driving season extends late into the year the further south you go so kick your days back later in the year when the weather is more reasonable. NJMP has showers in the pits - take a cold one to bring you back to life.

As much as I’d like to attend, even just to hang out in the garages and not go “on track” it will not happen. I’m not a fan of the incoming administration and the crap he and his minions say, did and will do against Canada. But even more than that I refuse to pay a 48% premium to cross over. (I just checked and my bank’s exchange rate is $1.4773 today.) Sorry but, we’ll be enjoying our Caterham north of the border for the foreseeable future. I’ll still follow all the threads about all the great things you people do plus I’ll post what we get up to here at home. Thank you very much for the invite. I know I’m opinionated and obstinate at times but I also realize that most in this group are like minded, fun loving, piston heads like myself. We hope you have a great turn out and all have a good time.

Is a race suit required? Yo, I run a 5 point harness, @CBuff swears by his 6 point harness. Minimum 5 point with the correct dates. Make sure your helmet is Snell 2015 or newer; since youre buying new, do what I did and spend the money for a 2020, as there is a 10 year limit at most tracks. HANS: I prefer the necksgen as it gives me more head movement to see while i'm driving. It's personal preference. Arm restraints are $30 at jegs I dont think I have a kill switch sticker. I should probably get one Fire suppression is your call. I just carry one in the tow car and i'm insured, so Numbers; I used some of @CBuff and just ordered some new ones. You can have leftover #'s which arent 1 or 3 if you want
