With all that I'm starting from scratch on the Caterham.  The tires seem to hold air for a couple days at a time :).  That's about the only thing I can commit to "knowing".

 

First welcome to the madness of "7" ownership.

 

While you are doing your "baseline" of the car, I highly suggest fuel lines be replaced. My 2003 is on the tail end of my baseline, hoses, wires, belts, coil, plugs, etc, stumbled across some dry rot cracking in a small piece of fuel line that did not show up till the system was pressurized, now being swapped out for braided (personal choice) PTFE line and AN fittings. 20,000+ miles worth of fuel on at least three or four continents have passed through the original in my case, so better to be safe, than sorry.

I have been an admirer of the Seven since my college days.  I saw my first real Seven stuck in traffic in front of the hotel I was staying in Hong Kong.  The car was invisible among the double decker buses and the driver was melting in the summer heat.  I told myself that this looks like fun and I got to get me one.  Fortunately we have a Caterham dealer in Texas, so now I have a Caterham SV to keep my Lotus Esprit V8 company
