scannon Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 Alaskossie doesn't claim that this is the "best Seven photo ever," but it is certainly one of his most memorable. He took it outside Kremmling, Colorado, on the Brits' "How the West was Driven 2005" tour: http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/1536311643_Image1.jpg Posted by scannon for Alaskossie.
stevet Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 And there's always this one, the original banner shot (or the basis of it, at least), and taken just before out police escort arrived... http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/399194307_blue ridge 2.JPG I know badge and headlamp reflections have been done to death, but here's a couple from the Snowshoes blat.. http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/2075999577_cool road.jpg http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/1718743731_early sunday.JPG
7evin Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 WOW ! So many awesome photos. I don't think ours can hold a candle. As you all well know 7s stick to the road like glue. So trying to drift one can be quite the feat. My buddy Loren is always up for the impossible. 07 One Lap: http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/1067080785_Resized_oloa-2007-11al0353.jpg Here he is doing it with one hand...... Here are two more from the tour that I like. http://www.usa7s.org/aspnetforum/upload/1947346428_usa20055.jpg -John Hey, that first car in the lineup is my Birkin! John, was this taken in the motel parking lot in Tehachapi?
Al N. Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 I think the calendar idea is great. We should really pursue this. Let's use this thread to collect pix...I think we should only have pix taken by or of USA7s forum members' cars and available for use in high-rez format (including release from photog and/or vehicle owner). If you like someone else's particular pix, please chime in so we can get a feel for crowd favorites. We'll want a mix of marques, settings, events (USA7s ones if possible?!?), and vintages of course. Perhaps the final selection made by some of the more artistic types here: Gwar, John Donohoe, Steve T? In terms of production, we could price it out with the internet providers, and I could get a quote from our preferred printer here in NJ. We should get some Se7en-centric dates on the calendar too... Great idea Kit Kat/Mike M!

That was taken at the hotel in Tehachapi. If anyone is interested, I have about 75 photos from that trip located here. -John
stevet Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 For some reason, I read Busa's post as "I don't know who owns the right to this butt..."
