Considering the location difference and lack of info, it is highly unlikely the seller is the builder/designer so I think they don't know exactly what they have under the bonnet. I'm confident it is an FJR1300.

An easy way is to adapt the bike driveshaft to a typical small auto sized shaft of 2-2.5 inch tube with a machined bush and the bike output shaft is welded to that. The larger diameter is needed for the length and rpm range. There usually isn't much linear travel on the splines with a bike, so a two piece shaft with a support bearing and telescopic section would be good with a live axle. Not much issue with an irs and fixed location pinion. I have a lot of posts about bec engineering on locostusa.

@vovchandr is wrong.  The body is wide, but the cockpit is actually quite tight.  Only attempted to get into one F1 (1993 Ferrari) but, alas, I am a bit over 140 pounds.  On an aside, I did get to spend a couple days with a rally equipped Renault R5 Turbo and each time I got in, I think it took about 20 minutes before I was really bottomed in the seat.  The pros tend to be small.  Hulkenberg is about as big as they come (170 lb.), and it actually cost him some career opportunities.

My Caterham is now up for sale on consignment with Time Machine Autosports, Greg has been through the car top to bottom making sure everything is in good order. 2013 Caterham SV, bare aluminum / green, 1.6 Sigma with Jenvey throttle bodies, LSD, lightened flywheel, registered as emissions free in New Hampshire and it also carries a California SB100 emissions exemption from the original owner.

@Slonie while I haven’t seen it in person, it does look nice. Adam brings in some great JDM cars, this one was brought in last September. When I first saw it, I found it interesting that it has cycle fenders instead of clams, which I have on my Steelbro MK4.

And further interesting is that it always looks like it had cycle wings and not clams as I do not see the holes for mounting clams - unless it was re-skinned?

I think you’re correct on the re-skin. To my knowledge, and it’s limited, the MK4’s were always fiberglass bodied, and not a combination of aluminum and fiberglass. Certainly interesting.

Yes that was my recollection too on the S4 - fibberglass tub reinforced by metal frame.  Never seen a skin like that on an S4 before.

What can be said about it?

Someone went to a lot of trouble getting that 7 really pretty. Grille should not be yellow. I would have to niggle down the price to to recover my cost to fix that. $8 for a can of VHT chassis paint.  Oh, VHT chassis paint doesn't come in grey.  Oh well.
