Or, we could call him MichaelD:). It shows how important getting the line right is: Dave entered the turn tight because of the pass and just didn't have room to finish it-in spite of truly heroic efforts to save it.

I can say that as I passed it seemed Dave was headed straight back to the track and me. I just went as far right as I could. Glad he was alright.

Really impressed with how this event has grown. Thanks for documenting and sharing pix/vids for people who couldn't make it. Will really try to make it back one of these years!

I received Amos' hi-res unsorted photos yesterday and will sort them out on my long plane ride home Saturday as there are some good ones plus some where some editing will make them stunning. Some interesting 'driver at work' photos too.

 

Not sure how I will distribute them yet - thinking of mailing flash drives out or preferably some download site solution? If some IT expert has an idea let me know. There is about 3GB of photos.
