Taber10 Posted November 12, 2025 Posted November 12, 2025 Not a great photo, but here is my 2007 lined up yesterday at the start of the Pensacola Beach (FL) Veterans Day Parade. Taber 4 1
TN_Scooter Posted November 15, 2025 Posted November 15, 2025 England? Germany? France? Nope. Middle Tennessee. Enjoyed the 70 degree weather, drove by Castle Gwynn near Arrington, Tn. They host a renaissance festival every weekend in May. I've been able to put on over 2500 miles since the end of July! Having a blast with this fun little car. 5 1
TN_Scooter Posted November 20, 2025 Posted November 20, 2025 Enjoying some mild weather in November with a drive to Bell Buckle, TN. You can have some fun at their famous (maybe locally famous) RC Cola and Moon Pie festival in June.

JB455 Posted November 25, 2025 Posted November 25, 2025 My daughter just came home from Pittsburgh for the first time since I've had the Birkin. With the weather being so nice out yesterday, she was dying to take it for a drive, and who am I to say no? Her daily is a MKVII GTI and she's done track days, so she's an experienced driver, but she said she felt like she was learning to drive all over again in the Birkin. We even ran by the grocery store to pick up some things for Thanksgiving- such a practical car! Edit: Not sure why the one pic wants to post upside down? My daughter didn't flip the car! 😅 3 1
Xhilr8n Posted November 26, 2025 Author Posted November 26, 2025 I figured you had driven to Australia
Austin David Posted December 4, 2025 Posted December 4, 2025 I forgot I did this, but saw it last night while testing my fuel pump -- the rollbar light goes red/green for the month of December, in "running" mode. Brakes/Turn are still the normal colors. 2 1

Austin David Posted December 4, 2025 Posted December 4, 2025 (edited) Thanks! I made them, it's about 50 LEDs and a microcontroller in the boot. It's BRIGHT, with active brake/turn. The signalling is wired in to the corner lamps, and powered separately. The MCU is wifi-aware and will sync time when it's near my house. If you're serious I can write up a parts list. I have extras of a lot of it. The power draw is low enough it could run directly off the rain lamp or tail lights. Edited December 4, 2025 by Austin David 1

They're mega bright as well and plugged right into the taillight connector and the LED tailights now piggyback off that connector. It's really well thought out. Would be cool to be able to change the colors of the individual lights. I should ask them what they used to program the lights. Why do you need to sync time?
Austin David Posted December 4, 2025 Posted December 4, 2025 20 minutes ago, hahuang65 said: Why do you need to sync time? I don't -- it's just an accidental feature of having something that will try to connect to wifi, without interfering with normal "brakelight" operation. I don't really need the wifi either, but it doesn't hurt anything and makes it a lot easier to manage without popping open a box in my trunk. 1
JB455 Posted December 21, 2025 Posted December 21, 2025 Been a cold, snowy December here in CT... but Friday's rain washed most of the salt off the roads and was in the 40s today, sooooo... Stopped for a pic next to Santa's sleigh on the Rams Pasture. The ground was snow covered and kids were playing hockey on the pond up until the 55 degree rains came. 8
Slonie Posted December 22, 2025 Posted December 22, 2025 Local 7 buddy and I have the inverse of each other's paint schemes, so it's always fun to park next to each other... 7 2 1
