  1. Those folks need nurf bars.....LOL.....
  2. I was also wondering about the post-it notes on the dash.... Sounds like you might have caught the last cone with the right rear at the end of a good run? Where did that auto-X take place? It looks like a great place for auto-Xing.
  3. Hi Tom and Others, Just watched the clip and all I can say is WOW that Ferrari sure did rotate fairly fast and you (Tom) did a fine job of avoiding a very close call. I am surprised that your group would let people point by in turns especially when it is not a race but just a track day. Great clip that dose show just how fast things can go wrong on a track. Glad no one or any car was injured except for the Ferrari drivers pride. Thanks for posting all of your adventures at the track as I know a lot of people that enjoy seeing and reading your exploits.
  4. Now that is funny..:smilielol5:..I thought the word blat came from the sound of the bugs smashing on the windscreen like in the comic books of old......no that sound is splat now that I think of it...:jester:...:driving:
  5. PM sent. Here is a link to some information. http://home.thegrid.net/~ffr4776/SB100_Registration.pdf
  6. Very cool.....I like the concept and the styling of the flip top for accessing the car.
  7. Amaizing what serious money will let one do...
  8. Not the color combination I would chose for sure for a Miata no mater what model. I do agree as I own a NA (1996 1.8 liter) and considered buying a new NC but after test driving the NC I felt that it was not as fun to drive as the NA mainly due to the car having a lot more creature comforts and it just felt like it did not have the same driving feel for me at least.
  9. That is funny.....LOL....
  10. Croc that is too funny......"do you own a Miata"......
  11. Hi twobone, One lead (+) to positive side of battery, the other lead (-) to any ground point. Make sure you have a fuse between the outlet and the battery on the positive lead. This sill also give you power when the ignition is off so be careful you do not drain your battery. Hope this helps.
  12. Good source for a popup vent. :cooldude:
  13. That is funny and should put a smile on anyone's face that has ever worked on a carb and had issues with the float and valve while setting it all up. By the way nice repair on the float rod holder LANCYLAD. Hope it works for you.
  14. Morgan, Your 7 always looks good even in person but it always seems to stand out in photos. Very nice. :driving:
  15. Very cool and I bet your 7 gets up and goes like the wind.
  16. Stephen, Sound like your going to enjoy QL and are looking forward to the move. Looking forward to reading about your adventures and seeing photos of your new environment. Here is how I transport my board with my 7. http://usa7s.com/vb/showthread.php?t=6549 Post Number 5
  17. Most likely a Blond of the species.....:smilielol5:
  18. Now that is funny......
  19. Have to agree on that. slomove ( Gert) is a member of the forum and his car is the second one in the left row with the bikini top and yellow fenders and I think he is the fourth person in the row of people behind the cars if I am not mistaken.
  20. I would not think it would matter as you could be going to show it or just out enjoying your collector car on your vacation. Call AAA and ask them as they would most likely know or be able to tell you who to ask. Have fun on your trip and post some photos as you go for all of us that have to work or can not convince the other half that a 7 would be fun on a trip of that distance.
  21. Boy did he tell it like it is. Best reply I have heard on that question and it sure dose make one think. Why do we not have people like that running this country?
  22. BUMP for the CCBCC show.
  23. Croc and Tom, Yes it is g-rated and even you will like it if Tom shares it with you.
  24. Tom, It was good to visit with you on Monday and was a nice change of pace for me. Look for a package coming in the mail to your house as I think you will enjoy it when you get it as you have the correct environment for viewing it. Here is the link to the PCA membership application which is worth the money if not only for the magazine which has a lot of information that I think you will find interesting since you do own a very nice Carrera. http://www.pca.org/Membership/JoinPCA.aspx Thanks again for the beer and conversation. Still hard to imagine that the place up from your only went for 1.2...still hard to believe even after I did a little research once back at my brother’s place. Someone got a smokin deal for sure.
