    Karma?

Now that is so funny..... Would have loved to heard what the concrete guys had to say to that driver....
  5. This car is going to make someone very happy at that price. So what type of race car trailer are you looking for and what will be going into it?
  6. Ford wins......
  7. Try Moss Motors or Victoria British and look for a Sprite or Midget wiper arm as they are the same size I do believe.
  8. MB has that same type of driver alert in their upper end models. Watch Men in Black II as they have a MB with an artificial driver that is the next step if the manufactures and the government keeps going the way they are and technology keeps going the way it seems.
  9. That is funny....at least he made it to the beer I suspect.....
  10. Have to agree with the statement above as it also makes my homebuilt 7 look very depressing but I still like both of them, mine and his Cosworth Duratec Caterham. I have not seen to many Caterhams painted those colors and it looks good, only drawback I can see would be it would take even longer to get fuel as people would be all over it even more when stop anywhere.....Nice ride.....
  11. A friend of mine has one of the BRE Aerovault Trailer and yes it is nice. His only complaint is that it reflects sunlight like a mirror and can get very hot in the Southern California Sun but I think that is mainly due to his trailer beeing polished to a mirror finish like his Kirkham Cobra.
  12. Yep that is funny.....
  13. Coconut Oil is good stuff. Glad I watched the clip.
  14. Hi Jim, You forgot to claim the IRS employees that is why the returned it.........:jester: Have a good day.
  15. That is funny.....
  16. Mondo where do you come up with this stuff......
  17. Hello Jeffs and welcome to the forum. First off why wait to see some 7's until you go to Colorado as their are a number of different Caterhams in your local area and they will most likely answer more of your questions as they are an active group of track and street dogs. Key thing is to find the 7 that fits you and what you want in a car and try to experience the difference of each type to help you make your decision on which one you get. Have fun and enjoy the search.
  18. I have to agree with Jim on the fuel mileage as I have a 28' cargo deck trailer (32' from center of ball to back of trailer) and yes it seems huge when the 7 is inside of it but it also has enough room to haul anything else you might wish to transport such as a tool chest and jack and stands or spare tire sets either in front or behind the car. I also tow it with an F-350 Super Duty Crew Cab Diesel that averages 14 to 15 MPG with the trailer in tow depending if I am running 65 MPH or just a little faster depending on traffic conditions. My normal average MPG without the trailer running 65 MPH with the cruse set is 18.5 MPG and 14.7 in town traffic. By the way I do not suggest that you use the cruse control when towing for safety reasons but that is just my belief and also what the manufacture of my tow vehicle recommends when towing. The draw backs that I see with a 16' trailer are these; only a seven or a Miata or similar wheel base car will fit, little to no storage room on the deck for other items such as a tool chest unless small, cost is not much less than a 24' to 28' enclosed trailer due to the fewer number of car hauler trailers made in that size from what I have seen that are available, payload is usually lower than the 24' to 28' trailers. Plus's for the smaller trailer; can be stored inside most 24' long garages, easier to control when backing up to a point (factor of tongue length and overall length), less expensive to register in some states due to length. One thing to consider is the tow vehicle ability to properly stop the trailer when loaded and the max tongue weight of the tow vehicle with or with out trailer brakes as that is where most folks get into trouble when towing a trailer as the tow vehicle is either maxed out or is just to small for the trailer and not able to safely stop a trailer larger than a small utility trailer in an emergency situation. Also consider a sway control and load leveler hitch as they seem to pay for them selves if your doing any long tows or traveling on the freeways but that is just my belief. Here is a link to the setup I have: http://usa7s.com/vb/showthread.php?t=4360&page=2 Post # 18 Hope this helps.
  19. Man that is a smoking deal for someone looking for clams to mount on their 7. If I was closer and needed a pair I would grab them up. Posted a link on the California Caterham Club site for you.
  20. Good History lesson. Sure did wake the sleeping Tiger after the Pearl Harbor attack.
  21. Here is a link that you should check out as they do what you need and they are good and will cross from Canada to the USA. http://www.reliablecarriers.com/default.cfm Hope this helps.
  22. That is a good one.
  23. Someone once told me that true driving skill is driving fast without having a lot of HP and still having fun at the end of the day. Having said that my car is powered by a BMC 1800cc (MGB engine) and has what most feel is low HP for a 7 but like KiwiBirkin and BruceBowker and Twobone have said or indicated that the HP is not what makes the car but how the car is driven and enjoyed. I find that I am typically in the top times at the autocross's I have attended, not the fastest and not the slowest but it sure is fun to watch the big HP cars try to do better. :cooldude: http://usa7s.com/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=3389&d=1314388466 Kess (Gary) May I suggest that you find and drive several 7's with different HP engines to help you make your decision on which car to purchase as some with high HP will be fun at first but might not be what you will not enjoy the most or able to uses to its maximum all the time especially if you intend to use the 7 on the street. Besides you never know you might find a 7 that just fits perfect even if it does not have BIG HP.
  24. Bruce that is one BAD TO THE BONE VW BUS and a work of art in my belief. I like this video clip even better.
