Croc, thanks for the comments and album suggestion. It really took about a year and a half to get it sorted and reliable. Good tip on the album. It was easy to set up and I'll add photos tomorrow.

I’m selling and thought it would be fun to do so here, as a sort of auction. More on that below. 1986 to 1989?? Birkin S3. I have had it since Dec. 2013. Right Hand Drive. Fear not, except for left turns against opposing traffic it is no problem. Registered and titled in Texas as a 1965 Lotus. Peugeot 2 liter, Mi-16 which was about as hot a 4 banger as you could get in the late 80s. I do not know from what model it was acquired. The top stock one was rated at 156 HP. This has individual throttles and an Electrodyne Tech 2 engine control unit. I have not had it tuned. Dry sump. It came with an extra cam belt and a rebuild kit, which I have never inventoried. Synthetic oil x2/yr. Ford T9 5 speed to probably a Toyota live axle. Discs in front, drums in back. Spitfire/GT6 front ball joints/trunnion, recently replaced. Condition? Well, I prefer an old car to look like an old car. Some of you would say it needs complete restoration. I’ve never wanted to do anything but drive it. Paint has flaws throughout. Transmission tunnel looks rough. Some electrics work, some don’t. I don’t care. I never drive it at night, as long the brake lights work, I’m happy. Brooklands on it now, but I also have the windshield and wipers. Tall Birkin rollbar and top (never used). No doors and body would need more snaps for the top. New Konig Rewind wheels and 195/15 Avon ZZS tires. Also Montegi wheels with RE71R 205/15 Bridgestones Auction? Why not? I do have a low reserve in mind, but someone here will get a bargain. Great first time Seven for those who have been lurking. PM with your offer, if the amounts get serious, I’ll update that here. Ask if you want specific photos. More photos here:

The Regular Summary of Classified Ads of Se7ens Found For Sale

The numbers and title are probably the best bits on it. Someone will give it a lot of love. Rescue Car. -
Note, most states also require a light for the plate. Never heard of a car getting a ticket for not having one, but on commercial vehicles it's a favorite of DOT inspectors.

Most jurisdictions have a group that will double check installation/use of child seats. You might start by checking county health department or fire department. It's an ongoing service that is pretty common.

Thanks to all who helped me find ball joints for the Birkin. When I got it back, I went to the alignment shop. No problem, it rained a bit of a cloud burst while I sat in the car watching, but then stopped. On the drive home (1.5 miles, low speed) the roads were still very wet, and the wheels threw up water , dirt, gravel, crap, etc. It seemed less to me than I would expect. Turns out the mechanic (God love him) put the fenders on L to R, so the pointy end was at the rear and the straight cut end at front. So, the question is, do I care? The lowest point is some few inches closer to the ground towards the rear, less in the front. I did not see anything thrown forward, but also low speed. Seemed like better protection to the rear. Would the higher front fender cause more air stress on the fender? ? Does anyone know he real reason for the angled cut to the front?

I would think a good hot rod, vintage shop could handle it. Please let us know how the claims process goes. Hopefully smoothly, if the P/U has clear liability. -
Best location for Heat and Sound Protection (Westfield Miata)

Same problem in Dallas heat, and the knee rubbed, not comfy. So, I cut a square of foam rubber from an old keyboard wrist rest, covered it in leather and glued to tunnel. When the knee is not in contact, the car heat is not a problem compared to the furnace in the sky. -

Help! Below are some photos of the front suspension. I need new ball joints. Tom has the uppers, but we can't ID the lower. The up-right appears to be Triumph trunnion, so I sent the photos to Moss Motors, figuring they know all things Triumph. They said that at first glance the up-right looks like Spitfire, but then decided it isn't. In the end, they say they don't have what I need. Any ideas? This a 1986-1989(?) Birkin. Thanks for any leads.

Welcome. I'm sure folks here are going to enjoy photos of your car's progress. -
I assume FI, so the hose is under pressure. Is it old? When I had my high pressure hoses made with fittings, I found that a couple places did not do material that can stand up to gasoline. I suspect someone made hoses of the wrong material. Mind you, the ones I replaced were 25 years old and NOT leaking.
