  1. He should have thought ahead and brought a hat and something with long sleeves.
  2. Looks like a soft bits for sevens half top.
  3. Drove my 7 to work this morning. 22-24F degrees, my WRX was an ice cube and I couldn't get the driver door open. Clear skies and most of the roads sprayed with de icer. Only 1 mile to work so it wasn't too bad, a couple layers of head gear and a thick jacket. Drove with the top off and side doors on. I need to fix my wipers, the road spray makes it hard to see thru the windshield.
  4. I just do something similar to . Found the kit I use. Just empty it after each wheel and rinse with water after each use.
  5. So which one is going up for adoption?
  6. Looks like an inline fuse holder using one of those cylinder type fuses. http://www.orschelnfarmhome.com/20-amp-hd-panel-mount-fuse-holder/ctl16754/cp57937/si5938370/cl1/ http://www.amazon.com/1st-Source-In-line-Fuse-Holder/dp/B0002KR8EE
  7. I changed out my fuel pump a few years back. I had hard starting issues and my spark plug (#1 I think) farthest from the fuel inlet was showing signs of it running lean. I put in a Deatsch Werks DW200 fuel pump and the install wasn't too bad. I have a SV so the extra room may make its easier than a S3. Disconnect battery, put on jack stands, remove roll bar and trunk floor, disconnect fuel lines, wiring and vent hose. Remove fuel tank strap and remove tank up thru the trunk. I actually found a pinecone in my fuel tank after I opened it up. PS the DW200 is a larger diameter and the plastic housing will need to be opened up. It took me about 3 hrs to remove the pump. Link to my fuel pump thread.

  13. How high are the speeds? There isn't very much runoff area.
  14. I drive with the doors on and a beanie or baseball cap stays on fine. I switch between the two depending on how high the sun is.
  15. U joints do that if there's too much grease. I greased up mine and have grey grease in my transmission tunnel. Do you have an open rear diff or a locker? You might be hearing the locker in the diff on tight turns. Since there would be more wheel speed difference between the left and right wheels on tighter turns.
  16. How much does the newer transmission go for and is it a straight swap into T-9 cars? How's the gearing compared to the T-9?
  17. +1 on the Confor foam. I put a piece on my seat bottom and seat back, makes bumpy highways more tolerable. Just 3M adhesive on the foam and the seat cover and slid them in.
  18. Stage 8 might have some hardware that will work for that application
  19. if the boot is already ruined you can use a pickle fork attachment on an air hammer.
  20. Is it using a cast in head exhaust manifold?
  21. How well will the dash circuitry handle vibrations when driving? Do you plan on epoxying them down?
  22. If nothing else works you can always run a wire from that sensor ground straight to the battery negative post.
  23. Also Thundersport makes hoods and half hoods for 7s.
  24. You can drill or torch out the rubber so the center is out then use a hacksaw blade to cut the metal part.
  25. I'm usually wearing headphones when I'm in the 7 so I sometimes pretend I don't hear questions at traffic lights. Had a guy folllow me to work when I got back from a lunch break. He knew what the car was and wanted to take pics to show his wife.
