  1. Lucas, the inventor of warm Beer:rofl:
  2. I used to use those with my Expedition, towing my 20 and 24 foot enclosed trailers. Takes a minute per side to install and take off, work great. As for enclosed trailers, if all you are going to haul is the "7", you might consider a low roof 16 footer designed for the motorcycle crowd. A lot of the Cobra replica guys use them. In regards to brake bias on a trailer, get yourself an adjustable (digital) controller. Weight distribution hitch will be a must for an enclosed trailer, and I suggest you opt for the anti sway bar as well. I never town anything enclosed without those three items. Even my featherlite open trailer I use a digital brake controller....... Bill S.
  3. Some of the cars can be restored and saved, I suspect one or two are beyond reconstruction http://images.hemmings.com/wp-content/uploads//2014/02/NCMsinkhole_02_700.jpg

  12. Disclaimer: Ok, I'll add a little controversy to the thread, even though I rarely discuss such items on a public forum. 1: Are you certain that that they are "Christian" based values, and not the values of another religion older than Christianity? 2: You do realize Jesus was a Jew 3: To place a "Christian" label, as the only "civil" upbringing and way of life is not very Christian of you or anyone else as it shows a lack of tolerance for others. 3: :grouphug: Bill S.
  13. Water immersion creates pressure on the item under water, where driving in the rain does not. The pressure of the water on the item forces water in to areas that normally would not have been affected by driving in the pouring rain. As an example, find yourself an old metal childs lunch box, place it out in the rain with a few pieces of paper inside. The lid of the box is designed to keep the rain out. Now take that same lunch box and put it in your bathtub full of water and hold it down. See how the exterior water pressure causes water to flood the interior of the box in short order. Science class is now over for the early morning  Bill S.
  14. If the lower tubes have a weep hole in them, not likely there is enough water inside to cause such an occurrence. Keep in mind, the flooding happened months and months ago, and the car has been sitting in a dry storage area ever since. I'm thinking quite a bit of the water and humidity trapped within is already dried up. Bill S.
  15. V8 Miatas make great winter projects, keeps me busy, and in the spring, I can sell them off for a little extra money to sink in to the Shelby restoration  Bill S.
