georgedodson
Yes, a very nice looking 7. I just can't get past the RHD. I owned a RHD MGA once and finally sold it. It wasn't worth the hassle. George
SCse7en
Love the RHD! No burning legs on the exhaust, get to hear the Weber's induction sounds better, driver's footwell is nice and cool as the exhaust manifold is on the other side, and on trips to the UK I feel right at home when driving.... panamericano
"Love the RHD! No burning legs on the exhaust,..." Man up! I love my RWD even with the exhaust on the right side. As I can testify (wife too), you will only burn your leg ONCE! You never forget again.
Croc
http://www.usa7s.net/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=15640&stc=1 Nothing wrong with RHD for those drivers who are competent and skilled. I switch back and forth regularly with my cars. Really quick on clockwise circuits Edited July 14, 2019 by Croc

Kitcat
With only 700 miles in 5 years, it doesn't look to have been on the road much. Nice car, decent BIN price, assuming it was well constructed. Hillbank didn't have the best reputation.

NEW Lotus 7 S2 https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/25221/lot/60/?category=list&length=224&page=1 Lotus 7 S2 - seen this car at Owl Head museum once when I was there https://maine.craigslist.org/cto/d/spruce-head-1962-lotus-super-7/6938383194.html I'm fairly certain the car from Maine is a 70/80's caterham. The only things that look "right" are the wingard taillights. Interesting that it does't appear to be running a front arb. The Bonham's car looks like a real lotus, despite a few few minor details (e.g. steering wheel, tachometer). The chassis plate doesn't appear to be original, however. The description is written by someone who has no idea what they're talking about (desirable alloy hood? Twincam?) I wonder if the John Watson has confirmed the number stamped on the chassis corresponds to SB1401.
