pethier Posted July 11 Posted July 11 Spitfire wheels? I doubt that this car has wheel studs on a 3.75" circle.

You've got a lot of room to clean it up and still not* be horribly "underwater". Holler when you get it sorted, I'd love to get a group of Caroliners together for a lil run Edited July 11 by Austin David Not* 1
JohnCh Posted July 11 Posted July 11 @gde31ff I was surprised that car went for so little. Provided there are no nasty surprises, it appears you got a great deal with plenty of upgrade potential. Don't forget to start a build thread when you begin digging into it. 2 1
pethier Posted July 12 Posted July 12 There is a USA7s member who may still have 5 Prisoner wheels not that far from you...
San Augustine Posted July 12 Posted July 12 Congratulations! You got a bargain. Make sure you go through the carbs and replace the gaskets, especially the soft mounts. Don’t want to have a carb fire destroying your new ride. Definitely replace the wagon wheels and get a set of 13 or 14 inch Minilite or KN Minator wheels. Period correct and most importantly will reduce the unsprung weight which of course is all about adding lightness! 1

theDreamer Posted July 21 Posted July 21 Strange, I have no problem with the above link. I have viewed it three times over the past 24 hours.

theDreamer Posted Saturday at 01:24 AM Posted Saturday at 01:24 AM Slonie, he posted the car for sale on here at the beginning of the month. He was offering it to USA7’s members first. The shipping, duties and the exchange on his asking price puts it out of my price range. Otherwise, a big transport would have picked it up and brought to Ontario by now. Prisoner Edition Caterham for sale - $39,500 1
