  1. Yep to good to be true I was looking at the photo but the description is for ramps
  2. Around 200+ bucks at a alignment shop and a cheap set for less than $400 https://autoplicity.com/11245808-longacre-racing-products-52-72537-25in-scale-ramps-set-of-4?utm_source=google&utm_medium=surfaces&utm_campaign=shopping%20feed&utm_content=free%20google%20shopping%20clicks&gclid=CjwKCAjw2a32BRBXEiwAUcugiO7gVgXZyvC5jCpnZATde-TAbyp5yyY5K8zenn4bRvUY-lGXhElu-hoC2w8QAvD_BwE And as I will only need to use them once (if I can keep the weight off) I thought if a few guys want to split the cost and try this them selves I would buy a set and then pass it on to the next person.
  3. Sorry never got a notification yep still available PM me if you still want them
  4. It just does not show well. The S4 always looked kit car'ish all the GRP and mismatched gel coat, this one is no different as noted in the comments the car would look so much better with the original wings. I'm thinking it will be a low finishing bid.
  5. Mine used the (unused) windshield washer bracket and then although you cant see it ran to central branch
  6. Cause you will never know (if I had got the correct finish)
  7. https://shop.decorativeplasticsheets.com/ But check Fleabay I think you will find a better match The .040 will work great for the wing protectors
  8. I have a superlite and a year ago decided to make it a little more aesthetically pleasing to drive around town in. I wanted a carbon fiber interior but getting and paying for the Carterham ones was out of the question so I opted for an ABS sheet with a Carbon Fiber finish. The original attempt looked OK but the sheet was way to thick and heavy so this time I opted for an .040 ultra lite sheet. Posted on LC7. https://www.lotus7.club/forum/techtalk/poor-mans-cf The drivers side bow was looking well beat up so I checked the cost of the Ultimate Carbon ones :ack: And then Caterham ones :ack::ack::ack: I am well pleased with the way these came out and basically free.

Posted this over on L7 but well worth spreading the good word https://www.facebook.com/BustedCoverage/videos/2610915115845548/
  10. Just invested in a set of Nitron's and the general consensus over on L7 site is once installed get the car corner balanced. Trouble is I cant find any place in Fl that does this. Any ideas?
  11. Thanks
  12. Anyone got a place to get silicone hoses? My rubber ones are looking a little worn. I am sure the ones that are installed now are off the shelf but as they have small bends I don't know where to start. AliExpress looked promising but as the plumbing is rather car/engine specific I don't want to order hoses that look like they will work but don't I have a 2.0 Zetec but I assume the plumbing may still be car specific...or not? I have all the hoses out sketched and to size on draft paper with measurements. Any Help? Thanks Steve
  13. Agreed age is not the biggest obstacle getting in and out of the car, But the flatulence as I climb in or out kinda ruins the cool bloke with a cool car look when picking up chicks from the retirement home.
  14. Not sure if these are the style you purchased but here is my instillation The last image in the quick(ish) mounting plate for when I track the car and need the Aero screen
  15. Look up track night america for meets in your area They meet once a month in various locations and if you are an SCCA member it is around $165 and they dont require certification for seat belts
  16. I think the wife is OK with the $165 SCCA Track Day America fee (for now) but no way would she agree to $10k+
  17. LOL I googled and found this photo me thinks she needs to be 2' shorter in case of a roll over
  18. A little cheaper here in Florida I went as a guest a couple of times and realize that people have a lot more money than I do. https://racepbdc.com/pbdc-individual-membership/
  19. Second that option much cheaper and custom for possibly less than even the shipping cost. Probably not in your area but Road & Race down here in florida can builds sanction cages or check out this site https://swracecars.com/product-category/roll-bars-roll-cages-street-bars/
  20. Hi Jim Would you mind measuring the width of the front and rear? I have a set but have Hoosiers mounted and I want to explore alternatives for daily driving other than Toyos Thanks Steve
  21. In addition if you do go with the Speedhut GPS suggestion they can use CATERHAM on the face of the dial so it look similar to stock
  22. Second that after two failures and lot of grief I ditched the T9 angle drive and went with a GPS Speedo
  23. Tesla P100D 0-60 under 3 seconds (2.8) No gas, (drive for free for life). No Tailpipe emissions. OTA updates The car learns (gets better) with age Drives itself (work in progress) No Oil Changes No Tune Ups Less than the 30,000 moving parts of your ave ICE (only has two electric motors)
  24. Maybe it my driving skill (lack of) but I have noticed that I have massive understeer when it comes to long sweeping bends. Actually one left hander at West Palm Raceway. The car just seems unresponsive and I find myself slowing down more than I think I would need to to take the corner. I have tried adjusting the balance by breaking a little into the bend and loading the front but it will not turn in. My suspension is rock hard all round would softerning the back end help?
