  1. The car deserves to be loved and driven again. Maybe it is the car for you, maybe not. Good luck with your research.
  2. My friend will take it. He has been helping me with my car and wants one for himself.

  4. On nice thing about a Se7en is that they generally look to be antiques. Police don't expect an antique to be doing naughty things.
  5. That is a cool looking car. It would make a great addition to any British or Import show. Interesting project for somebody.
  6. I'm disappointed. The title of this thread suckered me in. I always go to see the pig races when they are in the area. Racing pigs are great fun.
  7. Kid-sized Mini Seven is perfect for minimalist children http://www.autoblog.com/2011/03/12/kid-sized-mini-seven-is-perfect-for-minimalist-children/ I want to be a kid again.
  8. Almost better that what I was thinking.
  9. The following site has registration for all the various states. http://www.semasan.com/main/main.aspx?id=62843 Good luck to all.
  10. For me it would be the convertible - so Boxter. Same answer for a daily driver provided I didn't live in the snow belt. I don't recall the Boxter years with the bad engines but I would consider tracking down the scoop on any of the listed cars. For a 911 i would go for a 1989 Porsche 911 in silver please.
  11. More video Mostly stills but some autox video including the run by the horse & buggy An overview of the show site
  12. MightyMike; You will find a big and enthusiastic Lotus and Se7en crowd (well relatively big) in the Denver area. Check out the local club.
  13. Thanks for posting. I love seeing pictures of a 7 being put to use. There are some serious suspension changes in the first and last pictures. The outside front tire may be rubbing a little bit in the last picture. Some dust being kicked up in the second picture. A great aspect of the LOG 30 auto-x was that it was close to the hotel so many people came out to watch. People who drove hard, or screwed up in a spectacular fashion, received applause. When is the last time you heard applause at an auto-x?
  14. A lot of wire there. Neat installation.
  15. Take it easy and watch for symptoms tomorrow. That kind of wack could catch up with you. After being rear ended I felt fine. The next day all I did was sleep. Hope all is OK with you. You have an opportunity to go even more insane with the rebuild.
  16. Great video. The early stuff is fascinating. Indy racing as recently as the 60s had incredible carnage. Yet people want to do track days with minimal safety equipment. Go figure?
  17. Easy to program? Pure marketing hype IMHO.
  18. It seems like an excellent route. Northern Spain has great scenery.

    Auzzie oilchange

Makes me want a single and to visit down under. Thanks for the post.
  20. We missed the buffalo roundup by one day on our last trip out west in the M100. It should be a fabulous trip. I wish we could join in.
  21. The X-bow is horribly ugly in a large go-cart kind of way. It's kind of like how I feel when a 90 foot yacht has the same styling cues as a 20 foot runabout - disproportioned and out of place. An option for a more conventional body could do wonders for this car. I definitely prefer the styling of the Atom and Lotus 340R. I does seem to go well, which is in the end most of what this car is about.

    Log 30

The April edition of Hemmings Sports & Exotic has a 4 page article about LOG 30 in Gettysburg. Good pictures, as expected by professional photographer. It mentions Se7ens and has a couple of pictures.
  23. Dallara to build its own sports car "Word is, Dallara is planning a two-seat sports car to be sold under its own name that's built on architecture similar to what it developed for the X-Bow and Alfa 4C. With carbon-fiber construction and a low curb weight, it would be targeted at the Lotus Elise but come closer in spirit to the original Lotus Seven. In other words, Lotus had better pay attention." http://www.autoblog.com/2011/02/19/dallara-to-build-its-own-carbon-fiber-sports-car
  24. I recall seeing someone with a workmate getting it autographed at LOG. I thought that doing that was a pretty cool idea.
  25. If you are a member of Lotus Ltd I suggest that you send in your "Bessie The Seven’s Valentines Day Tips for Romancing Your Se7en" for inclusion in next years reMARQUE
