I don't know about better roads- I've encountered evil frost heaves in NH. VT, the berkshires, and Catskills all get two thumbs up.

James Randolph at Crossover sorted the transport of my car from KY to NH over the Christmas holiday a few years ago: IIRC ~1k. The only issue i encountered was the 1 mile drive in NH on Jan 2nd necessitated by my narrow twisty road.

Food for thought - after spilling gear oil I learned it's easier to: elevate the car on wooden timbers, then remove the prop shaft and lower the engine/gear box assembly onto a wheeled dolly. I've got a duratec birkin so this may not work as easily for you as me. just remember how good it'll feel to be back on the road again...

I have a similar set up as you and ran without the oxygen sensor initially. After I got my wide-band sensor installed (haltech) the engine was much happier being able to operate in closed-loop mode. So from my perspective it's definitely worth while. p.

Regrettably my Sunday plans no have moved up so I won't be able to join the drive (was really really forward to it too)

It's still Early days... I plan to leave nh in the am (provided the forecast doesn't change) and then play it by ear. Sat or sun either way I'm bailing on other plans. I expect its the weekend for you guys so why not wait and see how things look fri pm or sat am?

I might be a definite maybe? Biggest factor is wether the weather cooperates that week. I'm trying to daisy chain the Milford blat onto another long blat there are just too many variables. Fingers crossed P.

I found that a newton filler cap lets me get the nozzle further into the car and doesn't leak when closed with a full tank

I encountered this issue also. My current fix was to enlarge the sensor hole in the aluminum plate to accept a rubber grommet from my local hardware store. The ATS snugly screws into the rubber which holds it in place without the need for a retaining nut. So far this is working for me.

I got mine from TMW. Practically speaking it may be easier to find a good welder/fabricator to ensure a good custom fit.

has several examples. The best price was through Amazon but required searching for the custom dynamics item#. So far i'm very pleased with my installation which made for a good weekend project: 1) drill two 1/8" holes on either end of LED for wires. 2) Feed wires down both sides. realize this is inconvenient. rearrange wires through roll bar to both come out driver side. spend an inordinate amount of time finding the right size weatherproof connectors. 3) solder all wires together so the connectors align and fit through the hole beneath my roll bar. 4) connect to wiring harness - And bob's your uncle.... please post your results when your done.
