Yes, Paula is planning to attend, but I’ll likely wait until last minute to sign Uber up as a non driver.

Excellent.  I'd put her to work driving Uber to pay for your hobby.  :classic_tongue:

Oh sh*t! Meant to write “her,” not “Uber,” but your idea is excellent. I imagine she’ll be thrilled to hear it.

All signed up and ready to go.  Crawled under the car to nut & bolt and found 6 rivets missing from the floor on drivers side!!  Repaired with some stainless rivets instead of the aluminum ones that were there.  That should fix it but I'll keep an eye on it.  The harness won't keep me in the car if the floor falls out.

See everybody Friday AM.

Han’s tested with helmet. Think it should work. Hopefully I don’t fully test it.

I think that makes 10 for Saturday at least.  I’m trying to move some things around and attend Friday as well.  Will sign up when I know.

For those arriving on Thursday, while it is worthwhile checking in at ECG garage 367 on the Thunderbolt access road, I have three cars on a test day at Thunderbolt so please come over to the Thunderbolt pits where I think you will find us based in the big event garage adjoining the classroom.  I expect to finish up there at 4pm and shuttle things back to the garage after that.

One week to go.  Hopefully you all have done the necessary maintenance and polishing 😝

I will have both cars in attendance. Yellow and Orange.  Double trouble. 😜

Should be a fun couple of days.  Rest up.

Might do the oil. I think what's in there is two years old at this point. Maybe 800 miles.

Technical Inspection/Rules & Regulations

Some essential criteria for being able to participate in an HPDE at NJMP:

  • Arm restraints: NJMP requires these as mandatory safety equipment in open cars

It was there Graham....but thank you for the timely reminder as there is always one person who forgets.

For those who forget their arm restraints I have some pink fluffy ones to shame you with.  Simon donated them. :classic_blink:

Check your drain plug. It the event at Gingerman MI, I guys turned up with a 5k mile old BMW M2, Just had a fresh oil change before his first ever track day. You can guess how this ended, so check your drain plugs.

Another sad victim of an enthusiastic but stupid spellchecker.

You got to love 3D printing as a prototyping technique. 3D printing to CNC machined part in 7 days.
