BlakeJ Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 Yes, Paula is planning to attend, but I’ll likely wait until last minute to sign Uber up as a non driver.

FE07 Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 All signed up and ready to go. Crawled under the car to nut & bolt and found 6 rivets missing from the floor on drivers side!! Repaired with some stainless rivets instead of the aluminum ones that were there. That should fix it but I'll keep an eye on it. The harness won't keep me in the car if the floor falls out. See everybody Friday AM. 2

CBuff Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 Han’s tested with helmet. Think it should work. Hopefully I don’t fully test it.
CBuff Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 I think that makes 10 for Saturday at least. I’m trying to move some things around and attend Friday as well. Will sign up when I know. 1

Croc Posted August 29, 2024 Author Posted August 29, 2024 For those arriving on Thursday, while it is worthwhile checking in at ECG garage 367 on the Thunderbolt access road, I have three cars on a test day at Thunderbolt so please come over to the Thunderbolt pits where I think you will find us based in the big event garage adjoining the classroom. I expect to finish up there at 4pm and shuttle things back to the garage after that.
yellowss7 Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 One week to go. Hopefully you all have done the necessary maintenance and polishing 😝 I will have both cars in attendance. Yellow and Orange. Double trouble. 😜 Should be a fun couple of days. Rest up. Tom

fastg Posted August 30, 2024 Posted August 30, 2024 I don't think this has been mentioned this year for the newbie drivers. NJMP requires arm restraints in open top cars. Like this https://www.simpsonraceproducts.com/products/arm_restraints/parts/ARADU Graham

For those who forget their arm restraints I have some pink fluffy ones to shame you with. Simon donated them.
