I made a run into North GA today. Went up State Hwy 9 thru Cumming, Dawsonville and Dahlonega. In each town, there were flags and memorials to their hometown service members. It was good to see the honor paid for their service and sacrifice.
I doubt that Caterham actually made the two wheeled items. Other high end auto manufactures names have appeared on non-automotive stuff. My guess is someone has licensed the rights to use the Caterham name and such to sell there over priced products.
I made a stop (Roswell GA) on a blat and a guy was looking at my 7. He said he used to import them and mentioned something about an "American 7". Anyone know any history on these cars?
Also, oops. I for got to ask his name.
I have a 280mm MOMO wheel that is 2.25" from the closest part of the dash. This gives enough room for my fingers in gloves to clear the toggle switches. I don't have a problem seeing my tach and speedo. If I were a taller person my viewing angle would cutoff my view of the top part of the gages. Any way to sit lower in the car?
Also, this may help much since mine is a Caterham.
