I probably would've made an offer on it instead of buying the car I did if it was priced anywhere near reality when it was listed before! I'm no expert but I expected it to be closer to $45 than what it went for. Very surprised to see it go with no reserve. Who knows what scared buyers off, general economy, color?, sequential?, other car specific things like title? etc. Nobody knows. I hope to see new buyer at NJMP this year though. New buyer, if you're reading this, you'll need new tires to be in date for NJMP event. They want them 5 (6?) years or younger from stamp date. Also belts are likely out of date.

(see URL in attached image) Try searching Sussex Wisconsin. I recently had an issue with a Facebook Marketplace ad in Texas. This was in a thread on another forum and the link kept coming up not found. However, when I set my search area to within 100 miles of the town BINGO! There it was. Croc Posted August 20 Author Posted August 20 @theDreamer Thats weird. Your link still shows no ad and suggested other tawdry things for sale. But my listing from last weekend does link that car and that link does work. https://www.facebook.com/share/1HqQRdzVwE/ Ahhhhh....my link is different to yours as I get it by hitting the sharing button. Anyway...why is its nosecone crooked?

CBuff Posted September 4 Posted September 4 https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2020-caterham-seven-420/ This Caterham Seven 420R is a left-hand-drive model that was purchased new by the current owner, and it was built in 2019. Power comes from a 2.0-liter Ford Duratec inline-four linked to a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, and the car rides on 13” alloy wheels with Bilstein adjustable coilovers and four-wheel disc brakes. Inside, black upholstery is complemented by a carbon-fiber dashboard, a MOMO steering wheel, and four-point harnesses. This Caterham is now offered in California by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, with a soft top, side curtains, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Montana title in the name of the owner’s LLC.

Also according to our own member in the comments it's a 1994 Arch chassis so I'm not sure why/how they got a 1977 chassis tag on it. Cool car! Might fly under the radar just like that SLR a couple weeks ago, or maybe not considering how many comments are promoting the superiority of clamshell-fenders

w650gb500 Posted yesterday at 01:20 PM Posted yesterday at 01:20 PM Honestly, depends 1000% on the driver. 200hp in a 7 is an experience in itself, but outright horsepower isn’t what these cars are about. Once a driver gets comfortable with the unique handling characteristics and braking, then HP comes into play. I’ve tried to explain to people that a 125hp 7 is all one really needs. 150hp begins to exceed the performance potential of the tires. Beyond that, it’s tough to extract everything out of the motor, except on the straightaways. It seriously takes hundreds of hours of seat time and learning suspension tuning before anyone needs 200hp. Even then, a good driver in 150hp will run circles around an inexperienced driver with 200hp under foot. My experiences and opinion, yours may differ. 1 1
