Consensus in the thread is that it was a more-or-less innocent attempt to make the background look better, a.k.a. "put this car in front of an elegant house", that went off the rails. Ahhh...if you dive into the hundred photos you discover lovely floor mats: Quite elegant. I like the rustic look. Dual cruise controls on the back of the steering wheel is a nice touch: Matches the dual gear shifters Nicely fake background - matches what you would expect for a Cadillac owner. Pity they failed to eliminate the concrete in other photos and replace it with cobblestones These things really were a slab of old Florida. Pity the owner is dead and does not reflect in the side of the car when taking a photo. @wdb Well done - I really needed a good laugh. @JohnCh Why didn;t you tell me you were auctioning off your Cadillac? Did you keep the MAGA cap from the rear parcel shelf? 1

Zero chance it would ever get plates in the socialist state of New Jersey. The NJ EPA would have a conniption. Its going to be Maine....where I want to retire to.
Reiver Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Did the Yarnell hill today 2k elevation change in a few miles of switchbacks...two lanes up and one down. Years ago it was just the two lanes with oncoming but they made a one lane down some time ago. Too many accidents. 3k to 5k feet at the top. 3 1
Slonie Posted Monday at 09:21 PM Posted Monday at 09:21 PM Met this gentleman yesterday and knew I had to get a photo... (it's the Snyder Special, circa 1950s — iirc a 1939 Mercury chassis shortened to 100" wheelbase, Oldsmobile Rocket power) 6
